Though not dedicated gluten-free, Hot Krust takes great care in ensuring a safer GF dining experience.

95% of the menu can be prepared GF except for a few dishes and paninis. Fries are baked not fried. Your panini can be prepared on a GF Udi’s bun, and if you mention you’re celiac or have an allergy they will swap gloves, prep on a separate area, wrap your panini 3 times in paper before placing on the press, and will cut it with a separate knife. You can even have wings if your heart desires since they are air fried and tapioca breaded!

Toasted has crafted grilled cheese and burgers at its locations in Winter Park, Orlando (UCF area) and Lake Nona. In addition to a separate gluten free menu, they have an allergy guide that outlines nut, dairy, egg, soy, vegan, and vegetarian options. Their menu specifically states, and management will proudly confirm, “All items on our gluten free menu are either naturally wheat-free or can be made gluten free with a bread substitution. Gluten free items are always prepared on dedicated cooking surfaces.” They also go on to say that you should “always alert a team member if there are any food allergies in your party.”

So go ahead and get yourself a gluten-free grilled cheese or burgers (dedicated grill) with some truffle oil and rosemary fries from a dedicated fryer. An important note: they cut all sandwiches that are not gluten-free with the same knife in the back, so if you order yours gluten-free, they’ll even bring you a knife to cut your own so you know that it’s safe.
